Digital Somerset is a CiC (Community Interest Charity) that provides a Somerset Tech Roadshow with quarterly events showcasing local technology and trends. These events offer opportunities for Somerset's tech businesses to network and collaborate. As a Board Member, I help shape the vision for these events and deliver talks on Emerging Technology (EmTech) and Generative AI. Together, we drive initiatives that promote innovation, collaboration, and education, ensuring the region remains at the forefront of digital transformation.


Digital Hub Yeovil – Organiser and Co-Host (EmTech Specialist)

At Digital Hub Yeovil, we bring together local businesses, educators, and innovators to explore emerging technologies. As a co-host, I have a regular slot where I share insights into the latest tech trends and their impact on end users. This event is aimed at anyone who works with a computer, not just those in tech. We create opportunities for networking and learning, sharing practical insights to inspire the local community’s digital evolution.

Collab365 is a thriving online community and training platform for all things Microsoft 365 and Power Platform. You can find me on their forums answering and supporting questions or collaborating with the Collab365 Team on new offerings. Heart of the South West Growth Hub - Generative AI Subject Matter Expert

The Heart of the South West Growth Hub is a free business support service for companies across Devon, Somerset, Plymouth, and Torbay. In late 2024, I hosted a Generative AI session at one of their events, inspiring businesses to explore the transformative potential of AI. Building on this success, I’ll be working with the team throughout 2025 to deliver a series of Generative AI events across the South West, helping businesses of all sizes unlock innovation and growth opportunities.

I’m proud to be a member of the Yeovil Round Table, an organisation dedicated to fostering camaraderie, community service, and local fundraising. The Round Table is a global network of like-minded individuals who come together to make a positive difference in their communities while building lifelong friendships. In Yeovil, we’re deeply committed to supporting local causes and individuals in need. Through events like our annual Beer Fest, charity auctions, and other creative fundraisers, we raise money to provide crucial support to local charities, schools, and community initiatives. The ethos of the Round Table is simple yet powerful: fun, fellowship, and fundraising. Being part of this dynamic group allows me to give back to the community that has given me so much, all while enjoying meaningful connections with fellow members.
